About Genia Xasis
CEO & Partner, Berkana Architect of a New Capital Paradigm
Genia Xasis is redefining the architecture of
global capital. A serial entrepreneur witha
PhD and decades of leadership across the U.S.,
GCC, and U.K., she brings rare depth to the
investment world — blending operational
rigor with cultural foresight.
As the only female LP in male-led VC funds,
Genia didn't wait for inclusion — she built
Berkana, a Riyadh-based investment
consortium where ultra-high-net-worth
women lead capital with precision and
purpose.
Vision & Mission
Her thesis is bold: when women design capital flows, they shape the future. Through Berkana, Genia convenes elite leaders to deploy wealth not as privilege, but as strategic influence.
Her investment philosophy anticipates cultural shifts, not just market trends and her platform reflects Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030: disciplined, inclusive, and globally connected.
Northern Star
Her ethos is unapologetically clear.
wealth is a skill, not a privilege.
She's offering a blueprint for how
capital can build legacies.

Michele Mauceri
Energy Systems & Infrastructure
Michele Mauceri has advisory experience across energy
infrastructure, decarbonization, datacenter development, and
applied AI technologies. He has advised utilities, independent
power producers, industrial conglomerates, and private equity
sponsors on more than $20–30B in growth, M&A, and operational
opportunities.
Michele most recently served as an Expert Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Within the Electric Power & Natural Gas (EPNG) practice, he co-led multiple strategy engagements, independently leading delivery teams and coordinating senior leadership stakeholders. He drove M&A and due diligence efforts for utilities and PE sponsors across North America and Europe. His work included a U.S. grid resiliency strategy for a wires-only utility, a ~$10B decarbonization M&A program for a global industrial in upstream power generation, an energy roadmap for a U.S. state DOE, and new commercial models for hyperscale data-center power partnerships. He also delivered business-building initiatives, such as new energy-solutions units for utilities and a build-up roadmap for the FP&C function of a €70–80B multi-utility.
In parallel, Michele advises C10Labs, a venture capital platform, on building its energy vertical and developing an AI-driven O&M solution for power assets.
Earlier in his career, Michele worked at PwC Strategy& on strategy, M&A, business plans and R&D scale-up assessments for energy and industrial players, and held analyst roles in other advisory / financial services firms as 3H Partners, Crédit Agricole, and KPMG.
He earned a Dual Master’s in Management and International Relations from IE Business School (Madrid), graduating top 10% of his class with Dean’s List and Beta Gamma Sigma honors, and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management from LUISS University (Rome). Originally from Italy, he has worked across Europe, the U.S., Asia, and the Middle East.
